ITHET 2027: the 23rd International Conference on Information Technology Based Higher Education and Training

ITHET 2027 invites researchers, educators and practitioners to submit original work on the theme The Future of Education, Powered by IT and AI. See the theme and topics of interest for the full list of areas.
Submission requirements
- Full papers only. Papers are submitted in full for the first review. There is no abstract stage.
- Length: a minimum of 4 pages and a maximum of 10 pages. An extra page charge can be paid, but we encourage you to report compactly and stay within the 10-page limit.
- Format: papers must follow the IEEE conference templates.
- Submission system: ConfTool. The submission system opens on 1 November 2026, and the link will be published on this page and on the Submitting page.
- Peer review: all submissions are peer reviewed by the Technical Program Committee.
Publication
IEEE Xplore is the only publication venue for ITHET 2027. Accepted and presented papers that meet IEEE standards will be submitted to IEEE for publication in the IEEE Xplore digital library, subject to IEEE co-sponsorship. Final papers must pass the IEEE PDF eXpress check.

Co-located workshops
ITHET hosts co-located workshops that run their own review processes and issue their own calls for papers. Papers for these workshops are also submitted through ConfTool, where the specific track must be selected. Accepted workshop papers are scheduled in parallel sessions alongside the main conference and follow the same IEEE requirements.
